The Complete Single Source Imaging Bundle
With eRez FSI Viewer software bundle you get everything you need to add dynamic single source imaging to your website. The software bundle consists of YaWah eRez imaging server 4 and NeptuneLabs FSI Viewer 4 and is available in 3 different editions. While eRez Imaging Server is used to organize your high resolution source images and provides image data dynamically, FSI Viewer can be integrated like a standard Flash movie into any web site and serves as a dynamic image viewer.

eRez Imaging Server

With eRez Imaging Server you only need to create and maintain a single version of each image. eRez produces all the right variations including color profiles and formats in real-time. The concept is known as "single source dynamic imaging".

Web applications can request that image in different sizes, resolutions and formats directly from eRez using http queries or SOAP. eRez Imaging Server also supports zoomable images on the web. This means a company can let web site visitors take a closer look at their information, products and services, to zoom in and examine details of high resolution images in a bandwidth efficient manner.

Even images taking up hundreds of Megabytes or more can be examined in detail through a regular dial-up connection. This allows potential customers to examine details such as buttons and seams of clothing, the condition of antiques on an auction, a map or an x-ray. eRez dynamically serves up the images you need when you need them. For example, a shopping website might request a lowres thumbnail version of a hires product image, then on the product detail page, request a hires image from eRez. Only one original image is ever kept, as eRez produces all the variations in real-time as requested. These images can be delivered “live” to any web page by means of simple http requests. eRez includes an extensive range of http commands that let you control it.

Organizing Your Images with eRez 4
Using the web interface of eRez Imaging Server you can easily upload images, create and rename folders using your web browser. By managing user accounts you can restrict certain actions or completely hide folders and images for individual users.
eRez Imaging Server 4 additional provides the possibility to search your images for files matching certain criterias like part of a file name or part of an image title. Using the handy "Publish to Web" feature you can easily generate HTML source code required to present images using FSI Viewer, FSI Showcase or as static images on your website.

eRez4 Image Browser
FSI Viewer
The Flash based FSI Viewer is used client side to display 2D and 3D images dynamically in any resolution up to the resolution of the corresponding source image. FSI Viewer requests image data from eRez imaging server using the HTTP protocol. By loading image details dynamically on demand, the viewer provides the possibility to view any detail of an image requiring low bandwidth and minimal setup expenses only.

The viewer integrates into any web site like a standard Adobe™ Flash movie and can be configured using either XML files or HTTP parameters. This way FSI Viewer can easily be integrated into CMS and other database systems.
