When Improtech started to produce 3D-photo presentations some years ago,
home-made jigs or manual object repositioning were the common practice.
This time-consuming method resulted in very expensive product photographs
and therefore had a direct impact on the adoption of the 3D technology
among the general public.

By deploying robots Improtech has achieved a full automation of the photo
shooting process. A set of high-quality photos needed for 3D presentations
is now affordable and available in a fraction of the time.
Improtech has many years of experience in developing and installing 3D
photo robot equipment and control systems for customers not only in
Europe.

The mechanical parts of the equipment have a sturdy design to ensure robustness and the required accuracy. A robotized turntable is available for taking pictures of smaller objects. Larger objects can be photographed on a robotized turning platform, which can be optionally equipped with a mannequin holder and other custom-made accessories. Both machines allow object rotation around the vertical axis. A robotized telescopic arm is available for automatic photography from various top-view angles. The combination of turntable and telescopic arm allows taking pictures from the entire upper hemisphere.

The robot ensures smooth start-ups and stops when moving, so it allows
taking photos of less stable objects.
As the machines are at standstill while pictures are taken, various
exposure modes can be used with no risk of blurred images.
The devices are mobile, so the studio can be rearranged as needed or
quickly moved to a customers premises.
